It has a carved and pierced gilt wood lid and an ormolu flame finial. The porcelain is hand decorated in emerald green iron red and accent colors of lavender and yellow depicting birds on a flowering branch in two panels and scholar's items in two panels on the sides bordered by foliate and geometric designs.
